No-Dig Pipe Rehabilitation

Spiral wound Lining

Spiral Wound is a rehabilitation system made of PVC Liner, which inserted inside the host of sanitary and storm sewers with out excavation.the lining process uses a continuous one piece of PVC Profile Strip, which is machine wound directly into the deteriorated pipeline from an existing access chamber or manhole.the system consists of edges of the strip interlock as it spirally wound to from a liner inside the host pipe.A range of PVC Profile are available with differnt profile, rib and thickness configurations to match projects design requirements.

The winding process is continuous until the completea length of the existing pipe between access points or manholes has been lined.the liner is wound at a fixed diameter, leaving an annular space between the liner and the host pipe wall.it is then expanded by mechanical means, without the applications of heat, until the liner makes contact with the inside wall of the existing pipe.Another type of spiral wound lininf uses cementations grouting between the liner and the host pipe depends on the pipe condition. Also in some application the spiral wound material is reinforced with stainless steel ribs to stregthen the lining material against any type of exterior pressure. this system can be applied for pipe diameters from(150mm) up to (2000mm)
